Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlation of financial literacy to direct financial inclusion, financial literacy correlation to social capital, financial literacy correlation to financial inclusion indirectly mediated by the role of social capital. The study population were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UMSU force in 2016, with a sample of 288 students were selected by accidental sampling technique. The method of analysis using descriptive statistical analysis using SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS. Research shows that social capital plays a role as a mediator who mediates the relationship between financial inclusion and financial literacy of students.
