Abstract

The aim of the research is to assess and investigate the impact of economic growth variables on poverty in Lampung Province, Indonesian., the main problem in this study is the slow economic growth that affects the poverty level in Lampung Province, especially poverty in urban areas and especially in rural areas. This research Explanatory or hypothesis-testing studies are used to explain and evaluate theories concerning the relationship between variables. Secondary data is gathered through documentation studies to be used as research data. as time-series data between 2004-2018 which is divided into 4 quarter periods. Research hypotheses about the effect between variables were tested and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis recursively. The effect of the variable is based on the results of statistical tests using the t-test. economic growth on poverty gets a p-value of 0.0368 <0.05, which means that there is a large and negative impact between economic growth on poverty.
