Abstract

By 2026, the global apparel business is anticipated to be worth almost USD 2 trillion. Customers may use virtual try-on technology to see how a piece of clothing might appear on them. Many studies have been conducted on the many aspects of Virtual Try-on, including 2D and 3D representations of the human body, as well as Human Body Dimension Estimation. This study attempts to identify methods and approaches that might be useful in developing a far more complete virtual try-on system. Virtual try-on was utilized by 44% of respondents while purchasing on a retail site. As a result, 69 percent of those polled claim they bought the goods online or at a shop. We first introduce what virtual try-on and human body dimension entails. Then we discuss the different techniques that have been employed till date for the same while discussing some prevalent issues and future opportunities on the topic.
