Abstract

Prediction is one of the most dominant challenges in data analhysis. Prediction is required in almost every walk of life. Prediction is also some kind of decision and hence it should be possible to use tree structures to represent prediction models. The process of construction of a tree involves partitioning data recursively. There are various application domains of prediction using recursive partitioning like diagnostic analysis, insurance sector, infrastructure, social science, atmospheric study, telecommunications industry
