Abstract

The strategy of personal selling and product quality is the means used to increase consumer purchases. This study aims to analyze simultaneously between personal selling and quality of product to decision simpati card purchases in the city of Medan.The method used in this research is quantitative method by using techniques Non-Probability Sampling, which is a sampling technique that does not provide opportunities or equal opportunity for each element or member of the population to be selected into the sample. It is based on the types of accidental sampling (accidental) that anyone who happens to see or wear a simpati cardtotaling 70 samples. The technique of analyzing the the data used in this research was multiple linear regression. The results of this analysis, personal selling and product quality and significant positive influence on purchasing decisions simpati card in Medan. The implication of this research is further enhanced promotion methods and the quality of existing products in order to face the competition between existing competitors.
