Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of financial literacy and financial management behavior on female labor purchasing power of garment industries. This study was carried out in Subang District, Indonesia. The data were collected using questionnaire, in which 150 sample of female labors participated. We found that financial literacy and financial management behavior have a positive significant effect on female labor purchasing power. This study was conducted with the limited data from a relatively small sample of female labors. This study was conducted in Indonesia, indicating that some of the results might be specific to the Indonesian context.
