Abstract

The present study numerically investigates, two-dimensional laminar fluid flow and heat transfer in a planar right angled T-channel with an adiabatic rotating circular obstacle situate in the junction. The effect of fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics have been numerically explored for the range of Reynolds number (10≤Re≤200) and Prandtl number of 0.71 with different cylinder rotation angle (-5≤ω≤5). The streamline and isotherm profiles have been used to explain the flow and thermal fields, respectively.
